News: Brinsworth Training delivers for Greenline

Brinsworth Training has successfully delivered a range of NVQ programmes with local employer Green Line Oils Ltd. The company based at Northfield Road, Rotherham produces fully & semi synthetic lubricating oils and industrial lubricating oils for the automotive, commercial, agricultural & industrial sectors.

The company Green Line Oils won the commercial Boat Operators Association (CBOA) Award of Excellence in 2009. The company is unique in how it transports base oil from the port of Hull to their blending plant at Rotherham.

The programme was funded through the governments Train to Gain scheme and delivered courses in engineering leadership, performing manufacturing operations and information technology.

Operations Manager for Green Line Oils Jonathan Hoole said: "The Company was looking to improve the way it structured its training and we agreed to develop NVQs in conjunction with Brinsworth Training. Being a partner with Brinsworth training has given Green Line Oils the opportunity to add value to the workforce."

Business Development Director for Brinsworth Training, Paul Reeves added: "As we start to come through tough economic times, it's more important than ever that employers help their staff to grow and innovate. Failure to invest in staff training places a burden on employees, many of whom are relying on their skills to remain employable and maintain career progression."
