News: Rotherham companies support St Luke's

Assured Fire and Security, the Rotherham based fire and security specialist, has been awarded the contract to maintain fire alarms, emergency lighting, access control and intruder alarm systems at St Luke's Hospice in Sheffield.

The Hospice is in its 40th anniversary year and cares for people aged 18 and above throughout Sheffield who have incurable illnesses. The centre at Whirlow provides care for 400 patients in any one year.

Matt Spivey, Operations Director at Assured in Dinnington said: "We are delighted to be working with St Luke's as it reaches an important anniversary.

"As we continue to develop our business nationwide, it is equally important that we should also be strengthening our roots in South Yorkshire."

Rotherham-based Elevation Recruitment is set to sponsor St Luke's Golf Day at Abbeydale Golf Club on Friday June 17.

Matt Linley, director at Elevation Recruitment said: "My grandmother was cared for in her final days by the team at St Luke's and I was amazed by the people there and the level of support they give to patients and their families.

"St Luke's touches the lives of so many people throughout Sheffield and the whole team at Elevation are always happy to support in any way we can."
