News: Accolade for Beatson Clark


Rotherham glass manufacturer, Beatson Clark, is supplying Accolade Wines Ltd with the bottles for its feisty alcoholic ginger beer.

Stone's, the leading Ginger Wine brand, has expanded into a new category with the launch of Ginger Joe. The ginger beer is a modern twist on the traditional brand combining the heritage of Stone's with the vibrancy of ginger beer. The new product will come packaged in Beatson Clark's standard 330ml bottle.

Based on Greasbrough Road, Beatson Clark is the UK's leading manufacturer of low volume speciality glass containers and is renowned for its expertise in the beer sector. The company has manufactured bottles for a number of breweries including Meantime, Brewdog, Daniel Thwaites and now Stone's. They also supply the bottles for Crabbies ginger beer.

Clare Griffiths, European marketing director Accolade Wines Ltd said: "We pride ourselves on spearheading innovation and bringing successful new brands to market. Ginger Joe's overall concept has been extensively researched with consumers so we know they love the 330ml bottle size, design and the taste.
