By

A new commercial property business, The Right Space was officially launched last week at their first location in Rotherham.

The Right Space, headed by Tom Stokes, the ex MD of Evans Easyspace, aims to stimulate regional economies by offering quality business space at prices that make buying as achievable as renting.

Their first property is Enterprise Court, off Manvers Way in Rotherham which was officially opened by John Healey MP for Wentworth and Dearne.

James Newman, chairman of the Sheffield Region Local Enterprise Partnership also spoke at the event to welcome The Right Space to the region.

Comparable property in the area is currently priced for sale at around £150 per sq ft, but The Right Space intends to offer Enterprise Court initially to local businesses at £49.95 per sq ft. It is projected that business owners could save up to £1.2m over a standard 25 year mortgage term and will notice a dramatic decreases in overheads.

Tom Stokes, chairman of The Right Space, said: "We truly believe that this is a great stimulant for South Yorkshire business and that it is the start of our investment into helping in any small way we can companies in the area."

John Healey MP added: "We're delighted that you're using Rotherham as your national first and you're very welcome here. What you're doing at Enterprise Court will give a boost to local and regional firms in the future.

"This presents the opportunity to see more small firms in the area starting up, prospering and growing."

The company is hosting an open weekend at Enterprise Court this weekend.
