News: Fusion suits Vitalife to a tea

By

Healthy tea specialist, Vitalife Ltd has moved into larger premises across Rotherham to support the company's ambitious growth plans.

Vitalfe has taken space at RiDO's Fusion @ Magna Business Centre at Templeborough, with high quality office and workshop facilities providing more space and better access for the expected increase in deliveries.

Established in 2010 by health fanatic and serial entrepreneur Gavin Edley, Vitalife has since become one of the most popular brands of matcha green tea in the UK.

Matcha, and the antioxidants that it contains, is said to have a number of health benefits including boosting metabolism and focusing the mind.

The company has grown and last year welcomed eight new "teas with purpose" to their range. Grown in the highlands of Sri Lanka, the teas are carefully blended to deliver maximum health benefits. They all have a specific purpose in mind, from helping drinkers to lose weight, aid restful sleep, or settle their stomach after a heavy meal.

The range continues to expand and the firm has recently received the first batch of a new green tea vanilla latte blend.

Gavin said: "The new space serves as a platform for further growth by providing better access facilities for larger outgoing and incoming orders and a bigger facility than we had before.

"It sits with our growth plans, and our growing sales, as the workshop has space to accommodate the additional stock we'll need. Similarly, it will support our recent move into the US and European markets."

The move to new premises is part of the expansion plans that Gavin outlined at the Rotherham Enterprise Board Dragons' Den-type event in December where he scooped the top prize of £1,500 for delivering the best pitch on the night.

Fusion is one of four business centres operated by Rotherham Investment & Development Office (RiDO), the regeneration arm of Rotherham Metropolitan Borough Council. The centres provide a secure and supportive environment in which new-start businesses can successfully develop their business.

Companies enjoy easy in / easy out terms without being tied into long lease arrangements and modern, professional premises that help enhance the image of their business, but without the high costs such amenities usually command.
