News: Elevation Recruitment launch engineering and manufacturing division
Rotherham-based recruitment agency, Elevation Recruitment has added a specialist Engineering and Manufacturing Division to their growing business, following positive signs of economic growth within the sector and the region's increased demand for operational and technical staff.
John Bowan will head up Elevation's new division, bringing extensive experience and in-depth knowledge from the engineering and manufacturing, project management and health and safety sectors to the company. Bowan will head up a team of experienced sector relevant recruiters, including Senior Consultant Matthew Barwell who has also recently joined Elevation and brings over seven years of specialist experience from the engineering and manufacturing sector, having previously supplied technical and operational staff within the arena, form Global PLC's to growing SMEs.
Greg Parkinson, joint managing director at Elevation Recruitment, said: "We have seen encouraging signs of growth from within the engineering and manufacturing sectors: notably AESSEAL, and the imminent arrival of Rolls Royce Plc at the Advanced Manufacturing Park. We have responded to the needs of the market and those of our existing and new customers in setting up this new specialised division.
"Since we have started to work within this area we have had over 20 vacancies registered with us – clearly reflecting the demand.
