News: Ark creates healthcare jobs in Rotherham
Leading home care provider, Ark Home Healthcare has opened an office in Rotherham to provide care for people living in their own homes.
The move to the Bradmarsh Business Park in Templeborough has seen more than 30 staff already recruited after Ark won a contract with Rotherham Borough Council to provide home care services to its clients.
The company plans to expand its local workforce to at least 100 in the coming months to deliver care to both local authority and private clients.
Ark operates across the UK, providing home care to people with a range of needs: from basic home care support to people who require more complex care provision including those with physical and mental health disabilities.
The company's approach – which makes it a leader in the UK home care sector – is to provide innovative care packages tailored to suit the needs of every individual client.
Leanne Watson, regional manager for Ark, said: "We are delivering care to our clients with a complete focus on their individual needs.
"We work closely with every single one of them and their family to provide high quality care which is delivered by our comprehensively trained, experienced and dedicated home care workers."

Ark was formed in 2010, and backed by Ashridge Capital and Core Capital, has acquired a number of companies in the care sector.
Ark's chief executive is Mark Lavery, the ex MD of Allied Healthcare. He added: "Our ethos is to provide the very best in home care services. We are constantly pushing the boundaries – thanks to our hugely experienced and enthusiastic staff – to deliver care that is of the highest quality and, importantly, intended to make a real difference to the lives of our clients."
