News: EMSc open new Australian office
EMSc (UK) Ltd, the Rotherham-based manufacturer, has opened a dedicated Powerstar office in Melbourne, Australia.
The Powerstar system is the only voltage optimisation system wholly designed and manufactured in the UK and works by reducing the the voltage supplied by the National Grid.
The decision was made earlier this year due to the overwhelming success Powerstar has achieved in Australia over the past few years and the Melbourne office will allow the company to further develop its market presence.
As part of its expansion strategy, the company will be looking at establishing partnerships with a number of energy consultants and third party distributors to help promote and sell Powerstar across Australia.
Paul North, international business development manager at EMSc (UK) Ltd, said: "Powerstar has truly established itself as a market leader in voltage optimisation in Australia and has successfully been installed across a wide range of industries including government departments, supermarkets and cold storage facilities.
"To continue developing market opportunities in the region we are now looking at identifying and establishing relationships with local consultants, distributors and installation partners from our office in Melbourne."
The Powerstar system is currently exported to more than 15 countries, including Cyprus, South Africa, Sri Lanka, Bahrain and Malta.
The Templeborough company celebrated ten years of continued success, having announced at the end of 2011, another successful 12 months trading, with turnover increasing by 50%, to £12.4m.
