News: Rotherham United sign up with Westfield
Westfield Health, one of the UK's leading not for profit health insurance providers, has been unveiled as the sponsor of the disabled enclosures at Rotherham United's New York Stadium.
The deal will mean that the sponsored disabled enclosures at the ground will now be named the Westfield Health enclosure.
The £20m stadium on the site of the former Guest & Chrimes foundry close to Rotherham town centre, hosted its first fixtures this season.
Paul Shires, executive director at Westfield, said: "We are delighted to announce our association with Rotherham United and we are sure that it will be a winning partnership for both Westfield and the town.
"Our success owes a huge amount to our South Yorkshire roots as a large number of our policyholders are from Rotherham and the surrounding areas.
"Working with the club provides a fantastic opportunity to show our dedication to making a difference to the communities we work in.
"We look forward to working with the club and wish them continued success on and off the pitch."
Tony Stewart, chairman of Rotherham United, added: "We have had a great working relationship with Westfield Health for many years now and I am pleased to be working with them for the 2012/2013 season. I am sure our partnership will continue to go from strength-to-strength."
