News: VO4HOME launch new products at Ecobuild
Rotherham-based VO4HOME Ltd has launched two new additions to its innovative domestic and small business voltage optimisation product range at Ecobuild, the world's largest event for sustainable design, construction and the built environment.
The Templeborough company unveiled a revolutionary 100Amp three phase unit aimed at industrial and retail businesses with electricity bills of up to £25K per annum.
It is the first time VO4HOME's wholesale and electrical customers will be able to market a product of this kind to their customers.
The new three phase unit has a single drop and will enable wholesalers to offer customers 10V, 15V or 20V models. A more efficient, slimmer and more compact single phase unit will also be unveiled at the show.
Geoff Clifton, business development manager at VO4HOME, said: "By offering a wider selection of products with multiple 5V taps through the addition of these new products to the VO4HOME range, the benefits of voltage optimisation will be accessible to a greater number of potential users.
"The 100Amp 3 phase unit, in particular, will cater for the untapped SME sector and will enable these businesses to benefit from significant energy and carbon reductions.
"The new products will be available from our extensive network of wholesalers and partners across the UK and Europe. The installers will be able to recommend the most appropriate solution to their customers."
A three phase VO4HOME unit has recently been installed by Tregroes Waffle Bakery in Wales in a bid to reduce its environmental impact and resulted in immediate savings in energy consumption and a significant reduction in electricity costs.
Kyna Huysmans, head of environmental operations Tregroes Waffle Bakery, said: "As energy prices continue to spiral, we are always looking at ways to reduce our energy usage and make our processes more efficient. The installation of a VO4HOME unit has taken us closer to achieving our goal by reducing costs while benefiting the environment."
