News: CSL Rotherham store gets inspiration
The idea for the new Inspiration Station, which allows customers to create a bespoke interior design mood board based around their preferred sofa, came after the store was featured on Channel 4's "Mary Portas: Secret Shopper" that was shown last week.
In the programme, Mary highlighted that she believed CSL should focus on increasing customer interaction. The company have used her feedback to invest £25,000 in creating the high-tech Inspiration Station, which works through an iPad app created in-house at CSL, in partnership with retail marketing specialists Valley.
The Inspiration Station lets customers choose from an extensive library of on screen images provided by retailers such as Amtico and Graham & Brown to explore a variety of coordinated flooring, wall coverings, paint colour options and fixtures that can enhance the look of their home.
Jason Tyldesley, managing director at CSL said: "We're constantly striving to provide the best service possible to shoppers.
"The Inspiration Station ensures our customers are not only 100 per cent satisfied with their purchase, but that they also see how they can use their new furniture as a starting point to create their ideal living room.
"It's also a great tool for anyone looking for expert interior design advice, and anyone is free to drop into the store to use the service free of charge."
Following the Rotherham store's lead, 17 other CSL stores will open their own Inspiration Station over the course of the next month.
