News: BCPE buys into ESS Steel Holdings
Baird Capital Partner Europe has invested £12m in ESS Steel Holdings, a manufacturer of engineered components for the oil industry. The Yorkshire Bank has provided a £35m funding package, and the mangement team, £9m to complete the MBO. In the current year, the group will generate sales of £34m. The head office and machining plant of the business is based in Sheffield with the distribution operations in Rotherham.
