News: Advanced Manufacturing Forum held in Rotherham

Representatives from business and academia gathered in Rotherham today for the third Advanced Manufacturing Forum event. Organised by the The University of Sheffield Advanced Manufacturing Research Centre with Boeing and held at the recently completed Rolls-Royce Factory of the Future, the seminar was entitled "Composites and Advanced Materials for Manufacturers." AMRC PR and Communication Manager, Timothy Scherer said: "In highly competitive industries, it's essential to network, promote your own products, and learn about what other companies are accomplishing." The event also provided the chance for a brief tour of the state of the art facility at the Advanced Manufacturing Park.
