News: Market Festival brings the continent to Rotherham

The Markets Festival, which features the Farmers Market on Wednesday May 28 and the Continental Market from Thursday 29 to Saturday May 31, will be bringing both mouth-watering foods and fine goods from across the world, as well as the best in local produce to Rotherham town centre. General Manager for Markets, Robin Lambert, said: “Thanks to the recent visit to Rotherham by Jamie Oliver, fresh food is the talk of the town. The Markets Festival is the perfect opportunity for anyone interested in following Jamie’s example of healthy eating to try new foods and sample delicacies from both the local area and across Europe. “The Markets Festival, which will this year feature over 50 stalls, has gone from strength to strength over the past few years and is one of the highlights of what we have going on here in the town centre."
