News: Rotherham students take part in 'Give Us The Money' challenge

The Star reports on the The 'Give Us The Money' challenge organised by Business & Education South Yorkshire for 300 pupils at Wath Comprehensive in Rotherham. The challenge took five weeks and involved pupils attending workshops run by local business people to gain a better understanding of what business and enterprise is all about. They were also set the challenge to design and produce a saleable product, develop business, financial and marketing plans and present their ideas to judges from the local business community. The winning team was called Youthbotics and B&ESY's Joyce Tinker told The Star: "Youthbotics were chosen as the winners as they showed consistency across all categories and were a strong team who worked together really well, which is what great companies are all about."
