South Yorkshire Passenger Transport Executive (SYPTE) has been short-listed for two prestigious National Transport Awards. It has been named as a contender in the Joe Clarke Passenger Transport Authority of the Year and Improvements to Bus Services categories. Last year SYPTE won the Joe Clarke Passenger Transport Authority of the Year category. David Brown, Director General of SYPTE, said: “I am delighted we have been short-listed for these awards which recognise the innovative and industry-leading work we do to encourage greater use of public transport in South Yorkshire."
