News: Europe’s leading vending machine chain moves into Rotherham

By

Considerable growth at the UK arm of international vending services firm Selecta Ltd has led the company to establish a regional centre at Rotherham’s Century Park networkcentre. The firm, which has been operating for over 50 years and is the largest provider and maintainer of vending machines in Europe, has leased a combination of office and workspace at the scheme totalling nearly 4,000 sq ft. Kevin Cheadle, regional manager at Selecta UK Ltd, said: "Century Park networkcentre was a natural choice for us as a regional branch of a national company - offering great links to the motorway network via the M1 which is vital to our business, customers and 100 employees." Century Park networkcentre was launched in early 2007 on the former coalfield site in the Dearne Valley and has been a key element of Rotherham’s regeneration, attracting new entrepreneurial activity, employment and now national businesses to the region. Property manager at Network Space, Claire Chrisholm, added: "Since the site was launched it has attracted high levels of enquiries thanks to its location, the quality of the accommodation and its Secured by Design status. "Within the first few months of going to market, the development had already achieved 50 per cent occupancy and with the arrival of Selecta UK Ltd, it is now at 79 per cent and continues to draw daily enquiries."
