News: Consultation begins on Sheffield-Rotherham BRT

The South Yorkshire Passenger Transport Executive (SYPTE), Rotherham Meteropolitan Borough Council and Sheffield City Council have launched a website as part of the consultation process for the proposed £70m Bus Rapid Transit system between Sheffield and Rotherham. Views, ideas and opinions are being sought to make the BRT as good as possible in order to gain government funding for this important new project. The site gives an overview of the Southern route of the scheme and allows for views on what you think, in general, about the idea of introducing BRT between Rotherham, Waverley and Sheffield.
