
Rotherham based construction specialist, The Horbury Group has successfully clinched two major contracts worth more than £7 million. Horbury Building Systems has been appointed to work on the MCD Development Horizon and Eclipse project in Bristol – a contract worth £5.7 million. While Wates Retail has appointed Titan Ceilings Ltd to work on the new 280,000 square foot John Lewis store in Cardiff, in a contract worth £1.7 million. Trevor Wragg, managing director of The Horbury Group, said: "The developments will play a huge part in the transformation of Cardiff and Bristol city centres, so we are thrilled to be a part of these two major regeneration projects. "Winning contracts like these demonstrate how we are continuing to grow as a company and be involved in crucial development projects on a national level in major cities." Horbury Building Systems will carry out work including partitions, dry lining, joinery, soft flooring, kitchens and tiling and decorating on the Horizon and Eclipse projects. Titan Ceilings will install suspended ceilings and partitions at the John Lewis store in Cardiff.
