Barnsley & Rotherham Chamber of Commerce has established a dedicated website to help members through the credit crunch. The online "Tackling the Recession" guide is used to show how businesses can help themselves, receive help from the Chamber and its partners and use the Chamber's members to help. The guide is put together in four sections - Cashflow, Customers, People and Innovation, with each area containing a number of useful hints, tips and links which can be used to steer businesses over the coming months and into a prosperous and exciting future. The Chamber and Rotherham Work & Skills Board are also hosting a free event which will offer expert professional advice, practical help and support to all businesses in Rotherham. The event – entitled "Managing The Credit Crunch" - will take place on Friday 20 March at the Holiday Inn in Rotherham, from 8 am to 11 am.
