News: u-xplore Manchester Airport

By

The world of Manchester Airport has been brought alive thanks to Rotherham company, u-xplore.

A new interactive product offers guidance to current and future employees and has been put together to help answer questions from students interested in working in the aviation industry.

The site includes a short video that showcases the airport business. This is supported by a series of in depth video case studies and a number of 360 degree virtual tours.

The real life case studies cover a range of jobs such as the airport managing director, pilots, air traffic control, administration and fire fighting; with hints and tips of how to get into the industry.

The product is based on the highly successful u-xplore interactive, an innovative software solution which engages with young people through cutting edge media and provides "behind the scenes" access to the business community.

Already, u-xplore interactive is available to more than 100,000 students in secondary schools across South Yorkshire, Lincolnshire, Northumberland, Hull and Ayrshire. In addition the company also has plans to roll out the programme nationally to offer support to schools and young people throughout the UK.
