News: Dearne Valley College business breakfast

By

Rotherham businesses will have the opportunity to drop-in at the Manvers Campus to find out how Dearne Valley College can take workforces to the next level with free or heavily subsidised training.

Following the success of a similar business breakfast back in March, the aim of the event is for the Business Training Team to provide information on training opportunities and funding streams available to local employers and to offer support through the tough economic climate. The event will allow participants to network and share experiences.

Kaye Williams, DVC Business Development Manager said: "Our Business Breakfast is an ideal opportunity for local employers to find out what training is available to them and their employees. During difficult economic times there are funding streams available for training which we would encourage businesses to take advantage of".

The Business Training Team will be on hand to talk to businesses to see whether training maybe free of charge and give businesses an opportunity to book a free training needs analysis appointment and help identify any skills gaps within the organisation.

The event takes place on on Wednesday September 9 2009 from 8.00am until 10.00am.
