News: Elevation Recruitment sets sight on new territory

Elevation Recruitment in Rotherham is responding to market demand with the appointment of a new business manager.

Sam Foster becomes the tenth member of staff in less than a year, and joins the Moorgate firm to drive the accountancy and finance division of the business across Doncaster and Worksop.

Sam brings 15 years experience in recruitment within the financial, commercial and industrial sectors and will focus on placing temporary and permanent roles in accountancy.

Greg Parkinson, co-director of Elevation Recruitment, said: "Sam will make a great addition to the team, bringing a wealth of experience from various sectors and in particular accountancy and finance which she has specialised in for the last seven years.

"Sam has great ties with the region, in particular with Doncaster and Worksop where we will expand our service in the financial sector."

Elevation has witnessed a period of growth in demand for positions within the accountancy and finance sectors.

Greg added: "Elevation is starting to see more opportunities this year more than we have seen over the past 18 months.

"Accountancy is a particular area where there is now high demand for applicants with many firms hiring partly qualified and newly qualified candidates, to re-staff their workforce and deal with the increase in business.

"Our clients, both in accountancy and financial services, are very optimistic about the future of their sectors, which will reflect the increase in job opportunities in and around South Yorkshire."

Elevation was launched in January this year by Greg Parkinson and Matt Linley as one of eleven subsidiary companies which make up the Horbury Group.

Since setting up the recruitment consultancy, the team has expanded to ten people specialising in six sectors; accountancy and finance, professional practice, executives, financial services, sales and construction with South Yorkshire a key area of focus for potential clients.
