News: Oxley & Coward mean business

By

Rotherham's Oxley & Coward Solicitors has pencilled in another business networking event for later this year after a successful event earlier this month.

The event was in partnership with Rotherham-based financial advisors, Hawley & Wood and attendees were treated to a business breakfast followed by pure, uninterrupted networking.

Rebecca Stopford, commercial partner at Oxley & Coward Solicitors LLP, said: "This event followed the same format of informality as the primary objective is to bring together local companies that might be able to help each other out and perhaps benefit from our expertise at some point in the future.

"Now the breakfast format is set and people know what to expect, we're starting to see a range of suppliers, clients and business contacts develop relationships with each other - which is now turning into actual deals being done.

"We'd like to thank Hawley & Wood for their support and hope even more local businesses will join us for future events."

Simon Hawley of Hawley & Wood, added: "We were delighted to support Oxley & Coward and its clients and partners in assisting with this innovative networking breakfast.

"There was no set agenda and no lengthy presentations, leaving attendees free to network at their leisure. We were able to assist several people on the morning with various financial queries, and we look forward to getting involved again with similar events in the future."
