News: U-Explore adds enterprise to careers software
Rotherham education specialist, U-Explore, is providing advice, inspiration and support to young people who may want to consider taking the plunge and setting up their own enterprise.
Based in Templeborough, U-Explore specialises in enabling schools to deliver reality based careers information, advice and guidance. Their U-Explore national school product is an innovative software solution which engages with young people through cutting edge media.
Recognising the need for more socially responsible entrepreneurs, U-Explore launched the new "Start Your Own Business" application on its national careers platform earlier this year to provide advice, inspiration and support to young people who may want to consider taking the plunge and setting up their own enterprise.
The platform helps students to find their own destinations and the pathways to help them get there, with job profiles and video case studies. Now "Start Your Own Business" features hints and tips on the factors that need to be considered in the very early stages of business start-up, along with case studies of real entrepreneurs sharing their advice and experiences, a comprehensive business plan writing guide, advice on the financial side of setting up and running a business and many other features.
James Frith, managing director of U-Explore, said: "We need more employers, risk takers and entrepreneurs. Where the risk in an idea is embraced, an entrepreneur commits their idea to the economy, employs themselves with others and sets to the task… as an entrepreneur!
"U-Explore supports the need for new entrepreneurs with social consciences getting on with business. Their contribution to the economic wealth of the whole country with well run companies making money, growing employment as producers doing good business, can underpin social mobility and provide repeat opportunity for all."
