News: Stafforce Recruitment launches South Yorkshire hub
Fast growing national specialist recruiter, Stafforce has expanded its services and established a new South Yorkshire hub in Rotherham in order to pool its resources and share the expertise of its team to help even more people get into work.
The South Yorkshire hub, which will be based at Stafforce's headquarters on Percy Street in the town centre, will help employers, apprentices and other candidates to find a suitable match. Staff from the Wakefield branch of Stafforce Recruitment have also transferred to Rotherham, which will act as a strategic hub co-ordinating all business activities across South Yorkshire.
Tony Boorman, Director of Stafforce Recruitment, said: "This is part of our strategy for growth to introduce central hubs in key locations, which means we can service clients even better by sharing expertise and centralising resources.
"This is the second hub we have established this year, following the success of our Hull hub which we launched in February. Rotherham was the perfect location, as our head office is based here and so are many of our key clients. The South Yorkshire hub is great news for workers and for employers."
Established in 1977 by local entrepreneur, now chairman, Nick Cragg, Stafforce employs 155 staff nationwide.
In response to market demands, Stafforce now offers an extended range of added-value services to clients through its Stafforce Recruitment and Nicholas Associates brands. It recently expanded its range of added-value services it offers to clients, including offering temporary and permanent recruitment, executive search and selection, business improvement and organisational development, learning and talent development, robotics and automation, software development and access to Apprenticeships.
The news comes just six months since Stafforce Recruitment was awarded Apprenticeship Training Academy (ATA) status by the National Apprenticeship Service (NAS). The Stafforce Apprenticeship Academy specialises in food and drink, retail, print, waste recycling and a wide range of other commercial and industrial sectors. Its focus is on working with employers and apprentices across the Yorkshire and Humberside region.
Tony added: "We approach recruitment in a totally different way to our competitors, as we are a top-down bottom-up recruitment agency. Businesses are really noticing the difference and that's down to the investment we make in training and developing our staff and in-house management development programme. We are clearly focused on helping businesses to reduce costs, increase operational efficiency and become more profitable and have a wealth of expertise and resources here to be able to do this."
