News: Powerstar continues growth with new Australian office

By

EMSc (UK) Ltd, the Rotherham energy saving solutions manufacturers, is expanding its international footprint into the Asia Pacific region with the opening of a dedicated Powerstar office in Australia.

The decision to open a dedicated subsidiary was made due to the overwhelming success Powerstar, the world's leading voltage optimisation solution, has achieved in Australia over the past few years.

The new office, which will be headed by account manager Doug Hamilton, will allow the company to further develop its market presence.

Following a year of growth, the Templeborough company recently expanded its international network by signing distribution agreements with companies in Sri Lanka, the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Bahrain and Malta.

The award-winning company manufactures Powerstar, a voltage optimisation system with a patented design, which can actively reduce electrical energy consumption by an average of 12-15% of consumed electricity.

Paul North, international business development manager at EMSc (UK) Ltd, said: "Powerstar has been available in Australia for several years and has successfully been installed across a wide range of industries including government departments, supermarkets and cold storage facilities. The system has truly established itself as a market leader in voltage optimisation."

"As a company with a clear aim to deliver energy saving solutions to customers globally, the opening of our Australian office will contribute greatly to our international business, which is already experiencing exponential growth due to our extensive network of distributors."

Doug Hamilton, account manager at EMSc (UK) Ltd, added: "I've had a long association with Powerstar and when the opportunity came up to set-up the office in Australia, I was very excited to take it.

"I will be doing my best to continue developing market opportunities for the number one choice in this region."
