News: Another contract for Rotherham's IMS
Rotherham software specialist, IMS has secured a contract with security fencing manufacturer, Zaun, one of the sector’s leading companies. Zaun is using the Uplanit software to streamline their production processes. Uplanit applies a unique form of artificial intelligence, known as Genetic Algorithm, to optimise work orders in manufacturing. Using nature’s principles of evolution i.e. ‘survival of the fittest,’ it will work out the fastest process of production by swapping the sequence of work orders until it finds the perfect fit. Uplanit then remembers this sequence and tries to refine it on the next run. IMS also maintain high levels of customer relations and after-sales support to complement the innovative scheduling software.
