News: Platinum awards for enterprising Rotherham schools

The Star reports that five schools and colleges in Rotherham have become the first ever recipients of the newly-developed platinum Warwick Award for enterprise. Herringthorpe Infant School, Thorpe Hesley Juniors, Wickersley School and Sports College, Hill Top Special School and Dearne Valley College will all be presented with the awards at a celebration organised by Rotherham Ready. Rotherham Ready is working with The University of Warwick's Centre for Education and Industry towards achieving the Excellence in Enterprise Education award for all schools and colleges. Last month, Maltby Comprehensive School was granted specialist status in Business and Enterprise.
