News: Sponsors celebrate Vegas dance success

Studio Dance, the popular hip hop, street and break dancing troop for young people in Rotherham and South Yorkshire sponsored by Parkgate Shopping, came a creditable 9th in their first World Hip Hop Dance Championships. With over 1500 dancers from 25 countries competing in 3 age group categories at the famous Lowe’s in Lake Las Vegas, the Dinnington based crew performed outstandingly, and gained valuable experience for future successes. The group's director, Nic Prentice said: "Having won our age group at the European Dance Grand Prix in Italy earlier in the summer, we were full of confidence. In view of the very high levels of competition from far more experienced teams, we learned quickly and impressed many people. There is far more to come." Parkgate Shopping stated: "Without question, far more people from around the world have now heard about Rotherham, and Parkgate."
