News: Horbury Group complete work on major John Lewis development
Rotherham based construction specialist, The Horbury Group has successfully completed work on the biggest John Lewis store in the whole of UK outside London.
Subsidiary, Titan Ceilings was selected to work on the new 280,000 sq ft store in Cardiff in a contract worth £2 million.
The company was appointed by Wates Retail to install suspended ceilings and partitions at the store that opened last month.
Andy Gordon, director of Titan Ceilings, said: "This project has played a huge part in the regeneration of Cardiff city centre, so for us to be involved in the development is fantastic for the company.
"High profile projects of this nature are key to both maintaining and developing our reputation for delivering work on a national level to a very high standard. It is testament to our expertise in this specialist area and we look forward to this success continuing throughout 2010."
