The Yorkshire Crisp Company has been recognised for its passion and determination to embrace global export markets at the deliciouslyorkshire awards 2010.

The awards celebrate the elite of the region's food and drink industry, showcasing fantastic local produce and commending the outstanding achievements of businesses and individuals from Yorkshire and Humber. The winners were announced at an exclusive ceremony held at Rudding Park, Harrogate.

Based at Wales Bar in Rotherham and produced from locally-grown vegetables, Yorkshire Crisps do not contain any monosodium glutamate, artificial flavourings, colourings or anything genetically modified.

The company supplies farm shops, delis, coffee shops, sandwich bars, public houses, wine bars, theatres and many independent retailers and Yorkshire Crisps can also be found in leading supermarkets such as Morrisons and Tesco and prestigious retailers such as Fortnum & Mason, Harvey Nichols and Selfridges.

Yorkshire Crisps export throughout Europe and as far as the Middle East. They have distributors in Norway, Denmark, France, Germany, Spain, Italy, Greece and Dubai.

The company recently launched a competetion to find a tantalising new flavour of crisp to be launched next spring. The current range includes ten flavours – Lightly Sea Salted, Cheddar & Caramelised Onion Chutney, Henderson's Yorkshire Sauce, Tomato, Basil & Mozzarella, Black Pepper, Chardonnay Wine Vinegar, Nowt On, Sour Cream, Dill & Mustard, Parsnip with Black Pepper and new Sweet Chilli & Lime.
