News: Industrial Personnel move to larger premises in Rotherham town centre

By

Recruitment agency, Industrial Personnel is enjoying rapid expansion and has moved to larger premises in Rotherham town centre.

The agency has taken a 15-year lease on a (1,985 sq.ft) office development at 12 The Crofts, just off Ship Hill, to accommodate its expanding workforce in a letting arranged by commercial property agents Burgess Commercial.

Previously occupied by the Barnsley and Rotherham Chamber, the two-storey building was ideal for Industrial Personnel as it is situated in a professional area of the town centre, close to other businesses such as law firms, accountants and training companies.

Managing Director of Industrial Personnel Phil Buckley said: "We were keen to relocate to this part of Rotherham, and were delighted with the helpful, professional service we received from Burgess Commercial. We have signed a flexible lease which gives us the opportunity to move again at three-yearly intervals, just in case we outgrow this building as well!"

Neil Keally, Director of Burgess Commercial, added: "It's fantastic to hear about a local business success story and I am sure that The Crofts will provide the perfect location for future business growth for Industrial Personnel. We have helped a number of expanding businesses to move up to newer, larger premises recently and it is great to see the market starting to pick up."

Industrial Personnel supply temporary and permanent staff to the commercial, industrial, engineering and distribution sectors, as well as sourcing IT professionals and social care workers.

Phil Buckley added: "Despite the downturn in the economy, we have seen continuous growth over the past few years, which means we have been able to expand our team and create new jobs. I am confident that our new premises will give our business a further boost and we will be able to develop new opportunities with existing and new customers."

The 1,100 sq.ft of offices at Doncaster Gate vacated by Industrial Personnel has already been snapped up. The Nikki Lynam School of Performing Arts, who occupy space above has attracted so many pupils it will now take over the office space below.
