News: Stafforce sets the standard in recruitment sector

By

Rotherham's fast growing national specialist recruiter, Stafforce, is launching its own academy to create a competitive advantage for the business by enhancing the skills of their own staff.

The Academy will launch three exciting schemes from which all staff can benefit – this includes its own in-house qualification called "License to Operate", a Management Development Programme, called "the Climb" and "Share and Learn" sessions covering a number of key areas.

The first group of 34 staff are about to embark on "License to Operate" course which has been developed internally to create a Level 3 Apprenticeship programme for the recruitment industry.

"The climb" will involve 12 staff in a dedicated management development programme and the "Share and Learn" sessions will be open to all staff across the business and will enable them to share best practice in terms of information and experiences.

Paul Brammer, director of services at Stafforce, said:: "The Academy is part of our commitment to enhancing the skills of our workforce and ensuring our clients and customers gain the best possible experience when working with Stafforce.

"It is really exciting for us to be just launching our own "License to Operate" qualification and we expect this will continue to drive excellence within our organisation. The Academy will be available to all staff, regardless of job role, and we expect it will bring huge benefit both to our business and to our customers."

Founded 35 years ago in Rotherham, Stafforce has over 25 branches and onsite operations nationwide. 150 people are employed across the Stafforce business and they provide more than 3,300 temporary staff a week and works with over 500 employers, including local businesses, Sheffield Forgemasters, Stelrad Ideal and Braiform.
