News: Growth in store for Vitalife
Rotherham-based health specialist, Vitalife, is looking to take on more bricks and mortar stores to complement its online retail presence.
Based at RiDO's Fusion @ Magna business centre, the enterprise started life just two and a half years ago in the niche industry of specialist teas. It has gone on to launch a new line of organic coconut oil and develop a range of vitamins and minerals that feature no artificial or highly processed bulking agents or fillers.
The growing brand purchased its first High Street store in May, following several years operating purely online and via resellers as a successful health food brand and retailer.
Since the takeover of Nature's Trail on Ecclesall Road, Vitalife has now expressed an intention to take-on at least one more high-street location before the end of 2013.
Gavin Edley, managing director of Vitalife, said: "The adoption of our first high-street presence in Sheffield has been a huge success and we're keen to build on this success with a further location before the end of 2013.
"We have been travelling across the UK to find the perfect spot for our next store and we have a couple of areas in-mind.
"We are always "thinking big" when it comes to our growth plans, and our intentions are nothing short of creating a Nationwide, and perhaps in the distant future a Worldwide, brand and network of stores - so we are certainly not constrained to the locality of our first store when it comes to finding our second location.
"What better way of ensuring the support network and infrastructure behind our stores operates with a Nationwide mindset and foundation than to throw ourselves in the deep end and find a second store far from our first."
