News: The Junction gets ready to launch in Rotherham

By

The Rotherham Work and Skills Board is aiming to help people from disadvantaged communities take full advantage of economic growth across the borough and move from benefit dependency into work by launching the Junction. From a town centre location the project will enable people to access mainstream provision and innovative life-skills training. The aim is to meet the recruitment needs of local employers. Through projects such as this, Rotherham now has the highest employment rate and lowest number of benefit claimants in South Yorkshire.
