By

The Yorkshire Post reports on the closure of Ventura's Cardiff contact centre and the potential redundancies. The paper understands that the company is aiming to redeploy staff to other UK centres and that the number of jobs under threat at the site could be as many as 600. Ventura has its head offices in Leeds and employ over 4000 people at their Manvers site (9000 in total) in Rotherham, placing them as the largest single employer in the area.
