News: Chamber Business Awards approaching

The best of business in South Yorkshire will be celebrated at the Rotherham Business Awards ceremony later this year and companies are being urged to follow in the footsteps of Clipper Logistics, Overall Award winners at the 2007 ceremony. Last time around, Clipper claimed the main award after also winning the Customer Service award and the company’s General Manager Brett Young has been delighted by the lasting impact from that success. The award gave independent recognition for the effort and commitment of the team at the Rotherham facility and raised the company's profile. “Externally, it catapulted the Clipper Logistics Group profile within South Yorkshire and has led to business relationships and opportunities which would not have previously been available.” said Brett. The closing date for entries is Friday 29 August and the Rotherham awards ceremony takes place at Magna on Friday 24 October. Further details on the Chamber website.
