Solaglas Windowcare are celebrating success at the recent Rotherham Business Awards 2008. The Hellaby-based company received the Overall Award (sponsored by HSBC) and the Invest In Skills and Excellence In Business awards, and were runners-up in the Customer Service and Innovation In Business categories. Alan Martin, Sales Director of Overall Award winner Solaglas Windowcare, said: "It feels like we have won the World Cup – it was a wonderful evening for us. "This award gives recognition for all the hard work put in by everyone at Solaglas all over the UK to deliver excellence. There is nothing more important than teamwork. It is not about individuals but people doing their job, performing in the right way and being motivated. “It is an amazing achievement and a great way for us to mark our first year as members of Barnsley & Rotherham Chamber." Ian Davy, managing director at Solaglas Windowcare said: "Being named the best business in the region where the majority of our employees live is a great achievement and testament to their skills and commitment.
