News: Rotherham company invest in new technology

Rotherham company, PMS Diecasting Ltd has met with Yorkshire Forward’s Chair Terry Hodgkinson, to demonstrate financial support from the Regional Development Agency's is already benefiting Yorkshire businesses. PMS Diecasting Ltd has received two Grant for Business Investment offers from Yorkshire Forward in the past two years which have helped the company invest in new technology zinc diecast machinery. As a result of this, PMS Diecasting Ltd now employs 19 people and its high volume metal castings are used in a wide range of consumer and industrial products. Managing Director, Gordon Panter at PMS Diecasting Ltd commented: "We are the most technically advanced zinc diecasting foundry in the UK and the financial support form Yorkshire Forward has helped us stay ahead of the game, producing a higher quality product which keeps us competitive and our products superior." Terry Hodgkinson added: "PMS Diecasting Ltd is an excellent example of a SME which has benefited from financial support and as a result is stronger than ever." The company recently announced that they are managing to beat the economic downturn and, having won significant new business, are looking to strengthen the team and move back onto three shift production.
