The platform enables schools to meet the requirements set by the government which state that careers guidance must be presented in an impartial manner, include information on the full range of post-16 education or training options, including apprenticeships, and promote the best interests of the pupils to whom it is given.

The software includes applications such as "Where Could I Work?", "Work Experience", "My Options" and "Job Bank."

In addition, U-Explore's Everything Connects one-to-one support service provides schools, colleges and academies with bespoke, on-demand and centre-dedicated guidance, delivered by fully qualified, vetted and accredited professionals with access to U-Explore's range of products.

James Frith, managing director at U-Explore, said: "We welcome this clarity on the new duty for schools, colleges and academies. We are already working with our customers who see this now as an opportunity to make exact demands and provide their learners with a bespoke and tailored offer.

"Our customers tell us they are able to improve the services they are offering their young people with a holistic review of related service and the freedom to design it themselves with the interests of their learners as central to this."
