Yorkshire Forward’s Innovation Technology Centre, which is located in the heart of the world-class Advanced Manufacturing Park in Rotherham, has been awarded prestigious Customer First accreditation. The ITC provides 27,000 sq ft of office and workshop space on flexible terms for up to 20 start-up companies in the advanced engineering, manufacturing and materials sectors and is managed by Oxford Innovation, the UK’s leading operator of innovation centres. Ross Banerjee, Project and Incubation Director at the ITC, said: "I am extremely pleased that the Innovation Technology Centre has been awarded Customer First accreditation. Our team works hard on a daily basis to ensure that our customers’ needs are met to the highest standards and it is great for their efforts to be recognised by the award of an official national standard." The ITC was assessed on three core elements: customer relationships, market awareness and people, and had to provide evidence to meet the criteria specified for each of the 32 standards. Companies currently based in the ITC include Bromley Ice & Snow Sport Technology, nCode, Materialise and Pulse Tidal.
