News: Dormer Tools go back to their roots

As work continues on the new world class facilities for Dormer Tools at the Advanced Manufacturing Park in Rotherham, the company are going back to their roots and appealing to former employees to come forward with any company memorabilia such as photographs and videos. John O'Donoghue, General Manager of Dormer Tools UK, said: "It can be old photographs of colleagues at work to company letters. The items will all be compiled into a new section on our website, http://www.dormertools-amp.com/, allowing us to reflect on our roots." The company has already discovered a variety of archive footage of its old Sommerfield Street site, but is keen to gain more. John added: "South Yorkshire is moving forward and Dormer Tools are proud to be a part of that, with the creation of a new facility at the AMP. But it's good to remember how it all started and where it began."
