News: How do I love thee, my Rotherham bagels

By

After rebranding as The New York Bakery Co in the summer, the bagels produced in Swinton, Rotherham are hitting the screen in two new TV adverts. Using the emotive sonnet, "How do I love thee?" by Elizabeth Barrett Browning, the first advert shows a range of people lovingly preparing their bagels. The second ad uses the theme, "loves is the sweetest thing". How-do.co.uk reports that Manchester Agency, The Kings Arms, produced the ads for Maple Leaf Bakery and that the campaign will be backed by a £3m media spend which will also include online and outdoor. The Rotherham facility produces 70,000 bagels every hour under the The New York Bakery Co brand.
